Sheila Burnett specialises in theatre photography
Including production shots for stage shows, site specific installations, events, music, actors’ headshots and all projects related to the arts.
She studied at Birmingham School of Art and came to London in the 70’s. She worked as an Illustrator in Fleet Street before joining The Pip Simmons Theatre Group. She toured with the Group as a performer for 10 years during which time she produced an unofficial photographic reportage of the group and it’s touring activities.
This inspired a change of career: she became a professional theatre photographer and has now had more than twenty-five years’ experience in this area of work. She is well known for her headshot photography and has a studio in Maida Vale which is perfect for actors’ portraits and small scale pre-production shoots.
